What I did
Went to Innovation Centre in Yeovil, to view an art exhibition featuring numerous paintings, glass work and sculpture.
What I learnt
Karl gave a fantastic quote today in response to work by ‘Becky Buchanan’, saying ‘This art scares me’. I had never thought into art in that way before, trying to decipher if there is a message, a meaning.
I may have to view art in different ways, asking questions on what is art, and how it must be viewed. I believe that more viewings are necessary of galleries and exhibitions, to really understand this way of thinking. A media type like me is thrilled and stimulated by the challenge and opportunities ahead!
